  • Curiosity – 3D printer in action

    It has been fantastic seeing the 3D printer in action this week. Thank you again to Mr. Chambers for donating this to school. As part of their computing projects, children in year 6 have been creating name labels designed on the computer. It has been fascinating for them to see this turn into real life objects.

  • Caring for each other and the environment – Nature Nurture group

    It has been lovely seeing the Nature Nurture group in the garden every Wednesday afternoon. Mrs Litchfield has been working with 2 groups of children who have thoroughly enjoyed the project. They have made homes for bees and these lovely pieces of clay with different things they found in the garden. Nature Nurture is attended by invite only and is provided as part of our nurture support.

  • Curiosity – Year 5 make Tzatziki

    Thank you so much to Ariadne and Daphne’s mum for giving up her time to come in to work with the children during their D and T lesson this week. Daphne’s mum showed the children how to make Tzatziki and what ingredients were needed. All the children were given the recipe and a method of how to create it. It was great to see so many of them enjoying the session and the smells coming out of the classroom were amazing.

  • COLLABORATION - Blind Marathon Challenge

    We surpassed our target of 42,000 metres and completed 44,485 metres! The children experienced what it was like not to be able to see when walking/jogging and Terry also completed some laps for . Well done everyone in Foundation to Year 3 who took part and also to our wonderful Year 6 who assisted with counting laps and helping the younger children.

  • Determination -Top of the league finish for the Girls' Team

    Year 5 and 6 girls have played a fantastic season and have finished top of the league! The last match was real battle against another fantastic team - Ruddington St Peters! Our skillful players worked hard to secure a 2-0 victory!
