Enjoyment - Intra-school sports competitions
Tue 13 Oct 2020It has been quite tough not being able to take part in competitions. The children have really missed competing against schools around us. However, it was great to see year 4 and 6 children taking part in a tournament in their year groups.
The year 6 classes competed against each other in athletics and the year 4 children had a touch rugby tournament. Fantastic to see the children loving sport again.

It was great to hear from adults who have dyslexia and the approaches they have taken with their learning and from some of our own children who explained how they felt about their dyslexia and what it feels like sometimes in lessons. We also learnt that dyslexia can be a superpower and looked at famous people who have dyslexia. The children learnt lots really enjoyed our awareness day on Friday.

Determination - Year 6 History
Thu 01 Oct 2020I love a well-presented book. I particularly love a well-presented book in a curriculum subject. The year 6 children showed great determination when using research to prove or disprove their hypothesis. They created a Mayan map, labelled it and then stated how it was different to what they thought it would look like. Excellent work
