The children in year 3 had a fantastic day out this week at Creswell Crags. They were all here very early and all very excited for the day. They had the chance to go down in to the caves, act as palaeontologists and even do some hunting. A great way to learn about the Stone Age.

  • Collaboration – The Lady Bay Arts Trail

    Thu 19 May 2022

Thank you to all the parents who came to the school during the Arts trail. It was fantastic to see so many people (over 1200 people came through the school site on Saturday). A huge thank you to the LBSA for volunteering to set up the café and to all parents who donated cakes. They raised a massive £1,315 – amazing.

Thank you to V Create and Vanessa Oxspring for showcasing their dance show and for arranging all the activities of Saturday. It truly was an amazing weekend.

  • Reflection – Assembly this week

    Thu 19 May 2022

A huge well done to Charlie and Nell (Year 6) who planned and delivered an assembly this week. Both children are the school council representatives for year 6 and also attend the pupil parliament sessions at County Hall. Charlie and Nell delivered a very uninformative session on democracy and what a debate is. They even tackled the question as to whether a Jaffa Cake is a biscuit or a cake. The rest of the children really engaged with the assembly – well done Charlie and Nell.
