We are 3S!

British Science Week

World Book Day

As part of our new science topic the children in 3S have been exploring which materials are magnetic. We also managed to find the answer to our big question, are all metals magnetic?

Mediterranean food tasting!

Art day - Year 3 loved making willow Chinese lanterns with silhouettes and learning about Koi fish.

We had so much fun making our Shaduf models in Y3!

Egyptian day was AMAZING! 3S loved dressing up and recreating a mummification ceremony, smelling different spices which might have been used and learning all about Egyptian makeup which wasn’t just for cosmetic reasons!

We have loved making model death masks out of clay and painting them! Check out some fantastic examples below.

We have started our Egyptian Art topic learning all about the proportions of the face.
