Special thanks go to Coach Jimmy "Jumpshot" Smith, who organised and refereed the event, as well as giving coaching tips and advice during games.

Saturday 27th April - Rushcliffe Tournament

An early start on a cold and blustery Saturday morning for the girls as they competed in the Rushcliffe schools tournament at St Peter's school in Ruddington. Confidence was high after being runners up in the previous tournament, but with only 8 minutes per match, it was frantic stuff and difficult to find any rhythm in the first two games. Needing to win our final three games to stand any chance of topping the group, we comfortably won two in succession before unluckily falling to defeat against St. Edmund Campion in our last game to finish third in the group. All the girls can be proud of their performances, and with a bit more luck in front of goal we could have gone much further!
