Reading

Paul Linnet came to visit Year 1

The children in Year 1 were very excited to welcome of of the authors of the Supertato book series to Lady Bay. They had a super day!

World Book Day

The children enjoyed coming to school dressed as a character from a book. It was great to see so many children and staff taking part. The children had book themed lessons in the morning and a visit from author Bemma Akyeampong, the author of Ayuda’s Messy Rescue in the afternoon. We also spent some time reading with children in different year groups which everyone really enjoyed. What a great way to celebrate books!
