Ex-pupil Barney Corrall gave two assemblies following his gold medal success at the 2019 World Junior Para Athletics Championships. He inspired our pupils with his story of determination to overcome anxiety and barriers to learning, due to a stroke he had at birth. The children were amazed at his winning jump of 5.38 metres. Barney was also awarded the Rushcliffe Sports Person of the year Award.

Thank you so much to the Coop who last year agreed to have us as one of their beneficiaries of their charity and thanks to all the parents who have helped by donating their points. They raised over £6,000 - incredible.

We have put the money towards buying 30 new I-pads for the children to use.

Fabulous news too - they have agreed to support the school again next year.

The children and I had a lovely time visiting the store and meeting Tanya and lots off cakes were consumed.

Thanks to all the parents and children who supported Children in Need last Friday. We raised £358.25 for an amazing cause.
It was fabulous to see so many children dressed up and them learning  to be respectful of others.

The biscuits were a hit too.

    Thanks again everyone!
