Catch up funding

The government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up. This includes a one-off universal £650 million catch-up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time. This equates to £80 per child.

Below is our rationale for how we are using the Catch up premium. We have ensured that we have followed the guidance from the EEF (Education Endowment Fund) to formulate our Catch up plan. This EEF guidance can be found below too.

We have also included our Catch up spend to date. This information was accurate as of 16th November 2020.
