    A massive well done to our Remarkable Readers for this half term. They have all read at least 4 times a week and we are very proud of their efforts. Keep up the good work!! 
  • Determination and Collaboration - Nell's fantastic Eco effort

    Nell - in year 5 - truly cares about the environment and often sets herself challenges. 6 months ago she started collecting crisp packets to recycle. Nell collected over 6KG of crisp packets from school and at home. The money raised was donated to supporting guide dogs and she raised enough to pay for a guide dog for a day. Excellent effort Nell. 
  • Enjoyment and Determination - The Mayor of Ruschliffe's Christmas Card Competition

    We are blessed to have some incredible artists at Lady Bay Primary so when the Mayor of Rushcliffe set us the challenge of creating her Christmas card this year, we had lots of entries. Poppy - in year 5 - created an original and outstanding design and was picked as the winner. The Mayor came to visit yesterday and meet Poppy to congratulate her in person. Well done Poppy
  • Reflection - Year 3 RHE (Jigsaw lesson)

    Year 3 were working really hard in their Jigsaw lesson this week. They were reflecting on how words can be used for positive reasons but also how they can be used to hurt people. There was some fantastic discussion and great reflections from this. Well done year 3
  • Curiosity - Year 5 Computing and History

    The children in year 5 have really enjoyed researching World War 2 and have worked really hard to create a film about their findings. They did voice overs, acting and sharing information on PowerPoints. Great effort Year 5!

    The children in year 4 have really enjoyed their D and T topic. They had to show real determination to create their Christmas Cards. They had to make designs and apply their understanding of circuits to create light up cards. Super effort 
  • Collaboration and Enjoyment - Year 5 singing

    Sue Mallender, from Rushcliffe Borough Council, asked us to perform a few Christmas songs to get all at the council in the Christmas spirit. Mrs. Sture asked the choir members from year 5 to perform 4 Christmas songs and it sounded lovely. It was so nice to listen to children singing together again.

    We are all incredibly proud of Natalie in Miss Warren's class. She showed incredible determination to write excellent sentences about Stick Man.  What a fantastic effort! 
  • Enjoyment - Glow in the Dark Dodgeball

    Glow in the Dark Dodgeball came to Lady Bay Primary yesterday and half of the school thoroughly enjoyed it. Luke delivered a super Covid safe session to the children. The other half of the school are very excited for their turn on Friday.
