Respect and caring for each other - Anti-Bullying week
Fri 19 Nov 2021We have reached the end of a super week at Lady Bay. The children have worked hard and shown their understanding of what bullying is, the different types of bullying and tried to think about how the theme 'One Kind Word' and how they can spread kindness. Some of the children created some super posters too.

Respect and enrichment - Year 5 trip to The Holocaust Centre
Fri 19 Nov 2021The children in year 5 visited the Holocaust Centre this week to support their understanding and learning about World War 2. This will also help them when they start Anne Frank's diary next week. The children really enjoyed learning more about the war and it was a very successful day.

Fri 19 Nov 2021Thank you to all the children, staff and parents who supported Children in Need this year. It was so lovely to see so many children dressed in non-uniform and also so many Pudsey related items. The Pudsey biscuits were delicious too. We raised over £500!

Reflection and caring for ourselves - The Fire Service visits Lady Bay
Fri 05 Nov 2021The Fire Service visited year 2 this week. They had a super time exploring what equipment is on a fire engine and listening to the work firemen do to keep us safe. They even had the opportunity to (safelyl) spray the hose.

Enjoyment and Curiosity-VCreate Exhibition and Dance Show
Fri 05 Nov 2021It was great to see the ‘Cruella’ spectacular show this week, where members of VCreate exhibited their art work and performed dances outside.

Determination -Nikki Love extreme marathon runner returns
Tue 02 Nov 2021In our assemblies this week, we were lucky to be able to listen to Nikki read us her new book about all the places she has run through whilst completing her 63 marathons in 63 days! The children were really inspired by her story.
