Reflection and Respect – assembly this week

The focus of assemblies this week was anti-bullying week. This year, the focus is ‘Make a noise about bullying’. We talked to the children about the title and what they though it meant. We discussed what bullying is and what scenarios would and wouldn’t be bullying. We discussed the different types of bullying too. We also challenged the children to think about what banter is and when this could become bullying too. This was followed up by a lesson in class too. Thank you for supporting the week and for the children wearing their odd socks on Monday too. A really important week with lots of really important messages.
