Democracy-Visit to the Council Chambers

Two of our School Council members were invited to Nottinghamshire County Council to participate in two debates with other children from Rushcliffe Schools. They also learned about democracy in Britain and Parliament.

We were really pleased to receive this feedback from the event organisers.

“We have always been blown away with the level of engagement no and confidence the children show during these sessions, however this time the children have exceeded our expectations. We also noted how well prepared the children were with the debates and we really appreciate the time staff must have taken to get ready for this meeting.”
