Olympic Week and Spanish Day (July 2016)
Fri 08 Jul 2016Wow! What a fantastic week! The children have been getting excited about the forthcoming Olympics in Rio by undertaking a variety of sporty-themed activities. As well as lots of excellent work taking place in the classrooms, the children took part in an olympic maths trail, a mini-olympics, a Road-to-Rio dance workshop and special themed assemblies.
On Friday 8th July, the children took part in a Spanish day which was organised by Senora Lopez. Lots of fun was had by all and activities such as Spanish food tasting, a Salsa workshop, a Spanish dodgeball game and making Paella! Thanks to the school kitchen for organising a special Spanish lunch as well!

Wear it Purple for Stroke Association Day
Fri 17 Jun 2016The children have dressed in purple to raise £399.70 for the Stroke Association! Mrs Straw and some Year 6 helpers did a fabulous job of organising activities at break and lunch time. -
