Growing together - Cultural Capital at Lady Bay Primary School

At Lady Bay Primary School, we are dedicated to developing our children's cultural capital and giving them experiences above and beyond the National Curriculum. We encourage the children to understand what it is to be a global citizen and how we can impact the world around us.

Lady Bay Primary School raises thousands of pounds for our partner charities every year as well as supporting national charities. Information about our partner charities and the work we do with them can be found by clicking the link below:

We also ensure children are given rich and varied experiences through our programme of assemblies. These are tailored to the needs of our children, promote our school and British Values, and give our children the chance to reflect each week. This is also an opportunity to reinforce our school motto - Growing together: Caring for ourselves, each other and the environment. Information about our assemblies and how we promote our school and British Values can be found by clicking the link below:

Our children are also dedicated to protecting the environment. We have a very active Eco Committee who are working really hard to ensure the school is as eco friendly as possible. Currently, we have the Bronze Eco Award and we are working towards the Silver. More information about the Eco Committee can be found by clicking the link below:

We have an active school council. These children are voted for by the class and represent the views and thoughts of their class during the school council meetings. Our year 6 representatives also go tot the Pupil Parliament too. A fantastic way to learn about democracy. You can find more information about the school council by clicking the link below:
