Religious Education

At Lady Bay School, we believe it is vital that pupils learn about religions so that they can understand the world around them.  It is our intent for the Religious Education element of our curriculum to engage, inspire, challenge and encourage pupils and to equip them with the knowledge and skills to answer challenging questions, explore different religious beliefs, values and traditions.  We will support our pupils in developing a rigorous understanding of the religious traditions, beliefs and practices that are followed in our multi-cultural society so that they are able to combat prejudice and become responsible and tolerant global citizens.

We use the ‘Agreed Nottinghamshire Religious Education Syllabus’ as a basis for our Religious Education curriculum.
