Respect and Enjoyment
Tue 03 Mar 2020We have enjoyed welcoming Terry and Charlie into school over the last two days. Terry delivered two assemblies and managed to visit every class in the school. The children loved petting Charlie and hearing about Terry and Charlie’s new role as Guide Dog Ambassadors. As it is World Book Day this week, Terry also shared a poem written especially for our school about Guide Dogs. The children learned a lot about Guide Dog users and had the opportunity to ask Terry lots of questions. The children also learned that not many people with sight difficulties use Braille any more, due to talking technology being available.
