Enjoyment - World Book Day
Fri 04 Mar 2022All the children had such a lovely World Book Day this year. I could not believe how many children and staff dressed up. There were some incredible costumes. It was great to see so many children talking about books and to see children sharing stories across school.

Fri 04 Mar 2022What a lovely day! The children in year 3 had a real treat this week. Sinita from the 'Indian Experience' came in for the day to deliver workshops to the children. They all got to dress in traditional clothes and learned a dance too. A fabulous day

Determination - year 2 multi sports festival
Fri 04 Mar 2022Well done to the 4 children who represented Lady Bay at the multi sports festival this week. The children showed great determination in all the events and were a credit to the school.

Enjoyment - Year 3 Egyptian Showcase
Mon 21 Feb 2022What a fantastic performance! The children in year 3 showed off all that they had learnt to their parents in their showcase assembly. It was great to see over 100 parents enjoying the show. The children worked incredibly hard and the acting, singing and dancing was amazing. It was great to see how much the children had learnt about Egyptian gods, mummification and the River Nile - Awesome

Determination and Enjoyment - Year 3 D and T
Mon 21 Feb 2022It was great to see such determination in year 3 just before half term. The children were completing their Egyptian themed projects using saws to cut up wood. They thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and they had to measure accurately to succeed. A super effort.

Fri 04 Feb 2022The children in year 6 made cookies this week as part of their D and T projects. They worked collaboratively and had to carefully follow the instructions. It was great to see the children baking in school.

Enjoyment and Enrichment - Year 2 history walk
Fri 04 Feb 2022The children in year 2 really enjoyed their walk around Lady Bay this week. The children have been learning about the Victorians. They looked around the local area at the different houses and made notes on what they noticed. A super afternoon.

Determination - Year 4 art work
Fri 28 Jan 2022The children in year 4 have been learning about the art work of Modigliani. They had to draw sketches of themselves in his style and paint them too. Amazing effort

Enjoyment - Year 6 D and T
Fri 28 Jan 2022It was so great to see the children in year 6 making food in school this week. The children have been learning about different foods from America and made Guacamole. The smells were amazing.
