Be Ready – Sportshall Athletics final
Mon 02 Mar 2026Well done to the 10 children from year 6 who represented Lady Bay at the Sportshall Athletics this week. It is a competitive event which followed on from the heats last month. The children took part in a mixture of track and field events and points were awarded for positions in each one. We just missed out on a medal by 4 points, finishing fourth. An excellent effort from all the children. Thank you to Mr Oliver for supporting the event and to all the parents who were able to take the children to the final.

Growing together – Spanish Ambassadors
Mon 02 Mar 2026As part of the children’s leadership opportunities we plan for the children in school, children in year 6 can apply to become a Spanish Ambassador. Spanish teaching (with Senora Lopez) start in year 3. However, we start the children off in year 1 and 2 being taught by our Spanish Ambassadors. Senora Lopez meets with the Ambassadors weekly to plan the activities which the Ambassadors then deliver to the Key Stage 1 children. This week, they were learning about the colours. A really fantastic enrichment and leadership opportunity and another part of our unique and bespoke curriculum offering
