    Wed 02 Jul 2025

The children had a fantastic day and enjoyed taking part in a drawing workshop where they learnt how to draw different expressions and emotions on characters faces!

They also enjoyed a creative workshop where they loved turning their fruits and vegetables into their very own Superheros!

The children learnt lots about Sue and her life as an author during a Question and answer session. To end the day Sue signed the childrens own Supertato books and chatted to the children. A fabulous day 😊🥦🧅🥔🌶

  • Be Ready (Determination) – Girls’ County Cup Semi-Final

    Wed 02 Jul 2025

The girls played their County Cup Semi-Final this week. They have a very difficult match against Edwalton. It was a thoroughly entertaining game with some excellent football played on both sides. The teams could not be separated at full time with the game ending 4-4. There was a further 10 minutes of extra time and although Lady Bay piled on the pressure, they could not find the winning goal. It ended up going to penalties and thankfully the girls held their nerve and were victorious. Mrs. Hewitt asked me to give a special mention to Tabitha who was player of the match and brilliant in defense. Well done girls, we look forward to their County Cup finals soon.

  • Be Ready – Year 4 bridge building

    Wed 02 Jul 2025

As part of the D and T project, the children in year 4 have been looking at bridges and their construction. They have designed their own bridges thinking about he materials they have and thought about how to make their bridge as strong as possible. They have all worked really hard in the making part. They still have time to finish them off and then test them to see if their bridge is strong enough to hold a certain amount of weight. A super project.

  • Be Ready – Scatterball Festival

    Wed 02 Jul 2025

Thank you to Mrs. McKibbin for taking the year 6 children to the Scatterball festival this week. The children had never played the game before. It was a different take on rounders. They really enjoyed playing the game and all said they would paly it again in the future. As always, they all reparented the school brilliantly.
