Be Ready – year 2 English work
Fri 14 Mar 2025The children in year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their treasure hint this week. Jawbreaker John had left them some clues and a map to follow to find the treasure. They all loved searching the school and were very excited to find the treasure chest. The maps they have drawn are amazing and it has been a superb way to launch a topic. Well done year 2

Growing together – Leadership opportunities
Fri 14 Mar 2025Our children have started their leadership roles this week. It was great to see the children in their play leader bibs supporting other children with play. We will be giving the children further training but to start with they are selecting the zones they want to support with. It was also fantastic to see the librarians in action this week. The children busily sorted the books in the upper and lower school. We also had our litter pickers working hard to try to keep the site litter free. It feels an endless task at times as so much gets blown on to the playground but they all feel passionately about keeping the site litter free.

Caring for each other – Foundation topic on ‘People that help us’
Fri 14 Mar 2025The foundation team welcomed in the police this week to talk to them about their roles in the community and how they help people. The children were allowed to sit in the police car and explore what the police have to carry in their cars. The children asked lots of super questions and it was a really informative afternoon. Well done team foundation.
