Superhero day a success at Lady Bay!

Everybody at Lady Bay had a fabulous day on Friday 2nd December when they dressed up as superheroes!  All of the children (and some staff) looked fabulous!

The children certainly used their 'Powers for Good' throughout the day, but particularly when they visited the Year 6 classrooms for their fundraiser.  I would like to thank the Year 6 children who helped to raise awareness of the unacceptability of any form of bullying at Lady Bay by organising entertaining workshops of activities.  Here the children got to play fun games whilst, more importantly, learning about Anti-Bullying and the need to use their 'Power for Good' to help everyone in the school community to stay safe and free from bullying.  A special mention to the winners of The Best Dressed Superhero and The Anti-bullying Superhero poster competition winners(Pictured holding chocolate!)

Please watch this space for details of the next Anti-Bullying fundraiser.  Additionally, if you feel that you child in experiencing bullying or is unhappy in any way, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher or Mr. Shilton.
