Reflection – assembly this week
We were delighted to welcome Terry and Charlie back to school this week. Terry came in to talk to the children to remind them about what they should do if they see a blind person with a guide dog in the community. He also shared some of the adventures he had been on recently. Terry has been coming to Lady Bay for over 10 years and we now the only school in Nottingham that he continues to visit. We are his favourite!! We use our assemblies to enhance our work on personal development and inviting speakers like Terry in ensures our children see and hear from members of the community that they may not interact with. This helps to break down barriers and further develops our children as positive citizens of the future.
