Reflection and Respect – assembly this week
The focus of assemblies this week was the Harvest. We invited Imran Kahn in from Muslim Hands to talk to the children about Harvest and the work Muslim Hands do to support homeless people in Nottingham. He explained that they provide over 1000 meals per week and that their donations would go to these people. Imran Kahn also spoke to the children about the 5 Pillars of Islam and why charity is important to Muslims. Thank you very much for all your donations. We have split the donations between Muslim Hands and the Rosecliffe food bank (supported by SEWA).
