Caring for the environment – First Eco Committee meeting

The new Eco Committee met for the first time this week. They are all very excited to be representatives for their class and are looking forward to making a difference this year. Thank you to Miss Stubbs for being our staff eco representative. The children all received their Eco badges which they can wear with pride around school. The children planted plants in 2 of the beds in the school garden and also reused old pots to plant baby spider plants which they all took home. The children have also committed to twice weekly litter picks and to returning the named school uniform back to their rightful owners. The Eco Committee already making a difference to our school.
