Growing together – 1JH trip to Wagamama

The children in 1Kh had their annual trip to Wagamama this week. It is always a super trip and one the children thoroughly enjoy. They discussed what ingredients go in the food at Wagamama and had the opportunity to look at touch them. The children sampled some vegetables and pickles and created their own juice drinks. The children then tasted some Soba noodles too. They learnt lots of facts about Wagamama – we didn’t realise that Wagamama means ‘naughty’ in Japanese.  There were some very full tummies before their lunch but they all loved it. Thank you to the parent helpers and staff (they all enjoyed a meal too) A lovely way to enrich the D and T curriculum and their understanding of food preparation
