Determination and Collaboration – Our priorities this year
We were incredibly pleased with the outcomes last year and had another set of excellent data in year 6. It so great to receive the Local Authority comparisons for the KS2 data against the other 255 schools in Nottinghamshire. We are incredibly proud to say that we had the 5 best greater depth results in reading across Nottinghamshire, and the 13th best maths at greater depth. Overall, for reading writing and maths combined at the age-related standard we were 20th and 7th for greater depth combined. A truly outstanding and exceptional set of results last year and shows how much we push all children to reach their potential.
I would like to that all of you for your continued support in your child’s journey though Lady Bay. I would also like to thank the staff for their dedication and the children for their determination shown all last year. We have 3 priorities for the school year ahead (these will be on the school website too)
Priority 1 – Further developing research-backed teaching for children with SEND
Priority 2 – Further developing the teaching in the wider curriculum to ensure high-quality, research-backed teaching
Priority 3 – Further developing personal development at school including children’s leadership and understanding of the British Values and Protected Characteristics
