Caring for each other – Football fundraising

Thank you to all the parents who supported the cake sale and for those that wore football shirts today. The girls’ team are all very thankful. We wore the shirts today to celebrate girls’ football as last Friday was the Biggest Ever Girls’ Football Day but pupils were not in school due to the INSET so we wanted to mark it this week. The cake sale raised £300 and £296 has been raised so far, today. This means you have helped us to cover the cost of the mini-bus for the match next week in Birmingham and 75% of the new kit for the girl’s team – amazing news. Thank you to Isha, Naiya and Humaira who went the extra mile today and added a game of guess the sweets. We also have penalties being taken at the end of the school day. A super day at Lady Bay.
