Be safe – Smart Phone Free Schools meeting

Thank you to all the parents who attended the smartphone free schools meeting on Wednesday. We invited in Stephanie who is a parent who lives in Lady Bay who is an advocate for smartphone free schools. We looked at the risks and dangers of children having a smartphone and the pressure parents feel getting their child a smartphone (particularly with the transition to year 7) There was no judgement during the meeting and I shared my experience too as I have a boy in year 7 and we certainly felt the pressure to get my son a phone.
