Be Safe and Be Kind – Assembly this week
This week, we were extremely pleased to welcome Miles in to talk to the children. We talked to the children about the protected characteristic of disability and the fact that it is World Downs Syndrome day on Saturday 21st March. Miles is a friend of the school and he came to talk to the children about his experiences as an adult with Downs Syndrome. The children were all amazingly respectful and genuinely interested in what Miles had to say. They asked amazing questions and were truly engaged throughout. A super way to raise awareness during neuro-diversity week. We are looking forward to raising awareness of more neuro-diversities in the near future
