Be Safe and Be Kind – Assembly this week

This week, all of our assemblies were focussed on National Science Week. We were so lucky to have so many parents and volunteers who were happy to come in and share their love of science. We had assemblies and workshops on a variety of different topics including: the brain, scientific curiosity, DNA, soil, Eye spy science – from vision to action, lights and lazers, robotics, what makes a good scientist and jet engines. It was incredible to see the effort the parents and volunteers put in to make their presentations engaging and I know all the children have had a super week. They have learnt how to observe, make predictions, carry out a scientific enquiry and to question what they think is true. I have shared a few photos below but we had hundreds from the week. Thank you to Mr. Warren-Oliver for his efforts in bringing science week to life. What an amazing week!
