Be Safe and Be Kind – Assembly this week

This week, we focussed our assemblies on OPAL play and reminding the children about the OPAL charter and how we can work together to make OPAL successful at lunchtime. We reminded the children about the school values (Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Ready) and how we can show these during OPAL. We talked about risk management and asked the children to recall the rules when building to ensure they manage risk effectively. This assembly linked to the British Values of mutual respect and tolerance.
