Be Ready – Year 6 rowing festival

Mrs Davie took a group of year 6 children to a rowing festival this week. She said that they were such a lovely group to take out of school. She said, “the emphasis of the whole event was on team work as both the boys and girls had to work together to improve their performance across a range of speed and endurance relays. Because they cooperated so well and encouraged each other, both teams beat their initial time and distance. It was great to see the progress but also watch them having an enjoyable time.” Sounds like a super event.
