Be Ready – Year 5 WW2 homework

I was totally blown away by the quality of the year 5 homework this week. The children were given two weeks to create a project on something that particularly interested them from World War 2. The effort and details they have included is outstanding. There was work on the role of women during World War 2, information on the blitz, a suitcase that a child would have had on the Kinder transport with a letter from them, information on battles during the war, comprehensive information on rationing and even personal information from one child’s family who had children staying with their grandparents. A truly fantastic project and we are so proud of the amount of effort the children have put in creating them.
