Be Ready – Year 4 Roman Day

To so support the year 4 children’s understanding of the Romans, they took part in a Roman day this week. We invited in a history specialist who led the day. She brought in lots of Roman artefacts and the children learnt about life in Roman times. They learnt what it was like to be a Roman soldier and engaged in in-depth conversations about the benefits of the Roman army. It was a super day and a great way to bring history to life. Thank you to the year 4 team for organising it.
