Be Ready – Year 4 basketball festival

Thank you to Mrs Williams for taking the children to the basketball festival this week. The children were all brilliantly behaved and a credit to Lady Bay. The festivals are always non-competitive and a way to develop their skills. In assembly, the children told me that they learnt how to dribble round their back and between their legs and that they scored 30 baskets when they were practising shooting. They were also really happy that they were taught by 4 professional basketball players who currently play for the Hoods. A fabulous festival and a great way to learn new skills.
