Be Ready – Wellness week

What an amazing week! Wellness week is my favourite week of the year. The feel-good factor around school is incredible and everyone is so happy. We have had some super sports for the children to try and an amazing range of morning activities.  All the children took part in a Boxercise session. It was completely new to most of the children. It was lots of fun and a great way to keep fit. We also had Unihoc sessions with Matt who used to teach ice hockey at the ice arena. It was a fantastic introductory session where the children learnt how to control the ball, how to dribble around the pitch and the basics to the game. Miss Beckett held a wellbeing session after school where the children were able to take part in games and also do some orienteering. Our morning activities consisted of traditional games on Monday, singing on Tuesday, Skipping on Wednesday, penalty shootout on Thursday and dancing today. It has been another incredible week. Thank you to Mrs Davie for organising it. The pictures show the crowds of children singing on Monday, Year 4 taking part in Boxercise, Year 3 in the urbacn hockey session
