Be Ready (Reflection) – Assembly this week

We talked to the children about International Day of Friendship day this week. I asked the children to think about what it means to be a good friend and what are the characteristics of a good friend. We made the link to our school values and talked about why kindness was important in friendship. I then read the children a story and asked how the children felt the character in the story was a good friend. A really nice, reflective assembly and an important topic too. This also meets the British Value of showing mutual respect
