Be ready and caring for ourselves – Year 2 fundamentals festival

Thank you to Mrs Hewitt for ensuring the year 2 children had this opportunity this week and for taking them to the festival at South Notts Academy. Mrs Hewitt said that the children absolutely loved the festival. They all took part in the triple jump, hurdles, target throwing and a balance race where the children had to run whilst balancing a brussels sprout on a spoon. To add to the enjoyment, all the events were performed whilst listening to Christmas music.
