Growing Together – Year 1 Bright Time

As part of our unique Bright Time offering, we invite an author to visit the year 1 children every year with the intention of inspiring our children to be writers. We were delighted to invite Sue Hendra in to school again. Sue has been coming for the past 3 years and we are 1 of 2 school she visits outside of Brighton every year. Sue Hendra is the author of the Supertato books. She discussed with the children what it is like to be an author. She talked through how she writes books and creates characters. She loved the Superveggie stories that the children had created. The children then created their very own Superhero vegetables. What a super day!
