As part of their RE topic and our commitment for all year groups to visit a faith centre, year 1 visited All Hallows Church. The children have been learning about the way different religions celebrate. They have looked at Eid and Hannukah and this week they have been looking at Harvest Festival. The children learnt about the importance of Harvest to Christians and why it is important to share and help those who have less fortunate than ourselves. A super trip and a great way to reinforce their understanding of religious celebrations.
