Be Ready – Assembly this week

This week’s teacher assembly was led by Mrs Sture. She will be leading singing assembly every other week. The children were all very excited and thoroughly enjoyed it. My assembly this week was focussed on leadership and was linked to our school values and all the British Values. We started with a couple of games where the children had to show leadership to succeed. We then talked about what leadership means and what the characteristics are of a good leader. The children were amazing and their responses were fantastic. They truly understood what it meant to be a good leader and also what someone might do if they weren’t a good leader. We then introduced the leadership opportunities to the children and shared where they can find the application forms. Forms need to be in by next Friday.
