Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend the year 5 showcase of leaning this week. The Dragon’s Diner was full and the children put on a fantastic show. They changed the theme this year (which had been about the environment for the last couple of years) and focused the showcase on their topic on Space. The children shared their work on biographies, performed poems and raps, showcased their homework projects (which were outstanding), danced, sang, told jokes and shared all they had learnt about Space. It was a brilliant showcase of learning. Thank you to all the year 5 parents who have supported their children with their homework and for providing costumes on the day.
We ensure all children across the school have the opportunity to perform to their parents every year and the showcases are always well-received
