School Breakfast Club
We run a breakfast club for children at Lady Bay school from Foundation to Year 6. We can accommodate up to 70 children per morning, and it is open every school day except for INSET days.
Children can be dropped off in the Dragons Diner in the upper school building (using the doors which open onto the junior playground) any time between 7.30 – 8.40am but should arrive by 8.15am if breakfast is required. Bookings should be made on ParentPay by Thursday evening for the following week , but we can sometimes accept last minute bookings if you contact the school office the day before. Your child does not necessarily need to attend on the same days each week. Sessions can be cancelled provided you let the school office know by the end of the previous school day (3.25pm), or in the case of Monday sessions, by 3.25pm on the previous Friday
The cost of breakfast club is £6.00 per child, per session and this can be paid via ParentPay (we also accept Childcare vouchers from Computershare, Pluxee, Edenred, Bravo Benefits, Enjoy Benefits and Government Taxfree Childcare Payments). The cost includes a filling breakfast and a drink.
At breakfast club, the children can enjoy various games and activities such as Jenga, Guess Who and Top Trumps, Lego, puzzles, construction, colouring and crafts. It is lovely to see the older children interacting with and supporting the younger children when playing games. We also have iPads available for the children to use with peer or adult support.

Dragons After School Club
Dragons Club operates after school, providing wraparound care and parents can collect anytime up to 6pm. The number of places available each day varies from 30 – 45, and we are extending Dragons to include Wednesdays from September 2026. The cost of a session is £12.50 from September 2026, and for children that need a part time session after another school activity eg. Choir, Cricket coaching, there is a part session charge of £5.50. All children attending a full session receive a light healthy snack after school, and then choose from a range of activities including outside play, games & toys, colouring etc.
Pick up is anytime up to 6pm, and there is a late collection charge of £5 for children collected after this time. Bookings can be made on ParentPay up to 48 hours before, and cancellations must be made 24 hours beforehand. Payment is required when booking sessions, and we also accept a range of Childcare vouchers and Government Taxfree Childcare payments. These must be made in advance to allow the school office staff to load the credits onto your ParentPay account (and please bear in mind the school office is closed during all school holidays).
When collecting your child(ren) you will need to call the Dragons Telephone Number and then wait at the front gate for a member of the Dragons team to bring your child(ren) to you. Please contact the school office to obtain the telephone number for Dragons, as we don’t advertise this for safeguarding reasons.
